Choosing a pet’s name is a daunting task. Amy Morford’s Pet Names and Numerology Choose the Right Name For Your Pet makes the tricky task of selecting the most suitable pet name a lot easier. Morford shows you how to analyze your pet’s name using the Pythagorean System number chart to correlate each letter of the alphabet to a specific number. Then, she illustrates how to break down the total sum of the numbers into a singular number which is used to analyze the influence of your pet’s name on his or her behavior.

Pet Names and Numerology Choose the Right Name For Your Pet edition by Amy Morford Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
I've been into numerology for years - so of course couldn't pass up a book on numerology of pet names! The author presents truly solid numerological info about the personality numbers, master numbers - and even better, the reaction numbers (a new concept for me), AND health info. If you want to give your pet a name with a special meaning - be sure to check this book out first. It was neat for me to discover that my cat's name really does match his personality - Mr. Playful! A fun read - buy it!
I used the Pet Names and Numerology book applying the Pythagoras method to see how accurate it was with my pet's personality. It was dead on! If you already have a pet, this book will help you to understand your pet's personality better. If you have a new pet and are trying to determine what to name it, this book will help you to determine what kind of personality you want it to have because when the pet hears their name over and over, it will help create their psychological profile. Cool book!
Amy Morford serves something unique in her book "Pet Names and Numerology". Morford's explanations are easy to understand and help give the reader a sense on the importance of applying the Pythagorean System (ancient system of numerology) in analyzing the influence of our pet's name on his or her behavior.
This book is full of knowledge for pet-parents who would like to raise that perfectly-balanced pups by learning how to choose the best name for them. Morford's writing is crisp and sharp. The book is well organized. "Pet Names and Numerology" is a great read for all pet-parents.
I had never thought about anything like this before. I tried it out on my two dogs names. One of them was accurate all the way through the other not so much. Maybe that is because we call him by a couple different names. I did have a question on the numbers correlation to the letters though. The book says the numbers are taken from the Pythagorean number system but the Greek letters don't correspond to English letters. I just wonder if that makes a difference at all. I will remember this information for future pets and I recommend all pet owners check this out.
This book is very interesting. I've heard of numerology but I haven't heard of actually applying it to pet names. I picked up a few "nice to know" facts about numerology while reading this book too. It's a short read for me but it was fun calculating and finding out what my pet's name means and how it affects it's personality.
Pet lovers will definitely enjoy this book. The author explained all the concepts in a very simple way -- very easy to understand-- and it gives us the sense of how important naming our pets could be. Expect to encounter the pythagorean number system and expect that you will be taught how to interpret the results that you get.
Who doesn't like to know everything about their pet, from their sun sign to the numerological vibration of their name? Employing the ancient Pythagorean system, using all the letters plus the first vowels in your pet's name, author Amy Morford keys you into the 30% variable claimed to be the vibrational impact of your pet's given name that affects the personality and physical as well as health aspects of your pet. She then combines this with your pet's sun sign to further whittle down your name options, offering a link to 1,000 pet names. Being I have pets in the double digits, I can see that I'll be up for the rest of the night checking out names and possibly renaming my furs. Well written with definite Pythagorean backup, even if you're checking just for fun, this book is enjoyable and well done.
I was a little unsure if this was true but thought it would be interesting. I did it with my dogs name and it was right on. I thought ok that's lucky so I tried my cat. Again correct! I then went through all my family members and friends I could get a hold of to use their pet's names. Everyone said it describes them perfectly. I even called my best friend in Colorado (I'm in PA) and asked about her two dogs. I've never met them but she said I was right with the descriptions.
The author does a nice job describing a little bit of the history of numerology in the beginning. The way it's broken in phases makes it very easy and even provides some examples of names for each personality trait. You learn how important naming your pet really is. This book is very interesting, fun but also very accurate. I definitely recommend it to anyone with pets or looking to get a pet you'll think twice on the name you pick.
If you've ever wondered why your household pets seem to be nuts, it's probably because you have their names wrong.
